 Normally Windows does automatic updates which may be security patches or something else.

But now the question comes that is it right that Windows update our system automatically? ,

So you can change this setting so that whenever any update of Windows comes, you should update according to your wish, now updating automatically is fine in a way. It gives better security to your system.

 And if you see this updating screen regularly you need to fix it. If you have stuck on loading screen for long and update is not increasing what you can do ? . Follow below step. 

METHOD 1. FORCE SHUTDOWN YOU SYSTEM. 

You need to hold "Power key" for 10 seconds in order to force shutdown your system. If you have PC you can unplug main power key. 

Now you need "TURN ON" your system , Sometimes it fixes the problem Since system will refresh its setting and undo any changes . If you see the same result then you need to follow next method.

2. RUN WINDOWS UPDATE TROUBLESHOOTER.

This troubleshooter can fix issues related to windows update because system is not updated properly by which windows performs this task on regular bases and try to update windows. But due to some error it  does not manage to update. 

1. Go to "Search Bar " and type "Troubleshot" click on "Troubleshoot setting" on the top 

2. Now click on "Additional Troubleshooter" 

3. Now look for "Windows Update" Now click on "Run The Troubleshooter" And let run it will the problem if not follow the next fix.

METHOD 3 MANAGE AUTOMATIC UPDATE.

We will manage auto update by which windows will not able to update system itself. You need to enable this setting for temporarily bases as i mentioned in first step that update is good for your system. So in this step we will guide you how you can stop auto windows update . Auto windows meaning is when windows updates the system automatically without prior notification . If you follow this method

you can update your system at your will. Lets follow how to disable auto update? 

1. Go to "Search Bar" and type "Services" click on it you need to "Run as administrator" or you also press "Windows + R" and type "services.msc" . 

You will see all the services running all the services of windows run here that why it is called services.

2. Now select any services and press "W" since we have to find "Windows update" Now double click on "Windows update". 

3.  Now click on "Startup type" and select "Disable" also "Stop" Then "Apply " and "Ok" The service if running as shown below. 

4.  Close the services tab after that your system will not update itself.

Important notice: You have to "Re-enable" the same option which you stopped above and also "Run" its service. We highly recommend you to update your system once in a month.
