Wi-Fi Connected But No Internet Access quite irritating  this is quite a common problem in Windows 10 actually. If you are facing this issue although you have full signal in your pc but still not able to access any website. We will try our best to fix your issue in this article. 


Let's find out the root cause, There are many reasons of this issue some important are below.





1. Issue could be wrong IP Configuration.

2. Issue with Modem particularly in Router.

3. Corrupt windows driver.

4.Incorrect setting in DNS.

5. Corrupt windows update or outdated update

6. Using Faulty driver


METHOD 1. RESTART YOUR SYSTEM

Restarting can fix many issue including Wi-Fi . It is best to just restart your system and check whether problem solved or not since restarting can refresh you all windows setting. 


METHOD 2.  CHANGE  PROXY SETTING AND RESET  THE IP & DNS. 


1. Go to the Windows Search Bar, type “Control Panel” and hit enter. 

2 Here, click on Internet Options.

3 Now, go to the ‘Connections’ tab and click on ‘LAN settings’. 

4 Here make sure to check only the option reading “Automatically detect settings”. Uncheck any other options And hit Ok. 

5 Now go to "Advanced Tab" Find the option "Reset" click on it and check the button "Delete Personal Setting" Hit apply and OK

You must restart your system and check you problem should be fixed if not follow the next fix.

For obtaining automatic IP Address you need to go to "Wi-Fi icon" Right click on it and choose "Open Network & Internet Setting" Now choose "Change Adapter Option". 

1 Right click on "Wi-Fi icon" and go to "Property" Now select "Internet Version Protocol 4 (TCP/IPv4) . If you are using Internet Version Protocol 6 (TCP/IPv6) then you need to choose the same. 

2 Now click on "Properties" and make sure you are selected the option" Obtain an IP automatically" also select thee same option in DNS option in below. 

METHOD 3. RUN THE TROUBLESHOOTER. 

Troubleshoot can fix many problem also it will give you all details about the root causing  by which you can take next step accordingly. For using this option you need to "Right Click " on " Wi-Fi icon" and click on "Troubleshoot Problems" Let this run and follow the screen . 


METHOD 4. APPLY NETWORK RESET OPTION.

Please note this will erase all of your saved network settings and you have to provide the Wi-Fi password again to join the network but this is very powerful option to solve this issue . You also may have to reconfigure VPN. 

1. Go to "Search Bar" And type "Network Reset" click on it "Reset Now" Then "Yes" after that you must restart your system or your system will be restarted automatically in 5 minutes. 

After rebooting your system you need to reenter the password of you Wi-Fi you are good to go. 

If issue is still persists you need to follow 5th method. 

  METHOD 5. APPLY COMMANDS 

An old IP Address can cause this issue so in this method we will release old IP and get new IP. Also your all cache in DNS will be reset. Your catalogs will be reset. 

This is the best commands to solve this irritating error these command can be used in all windows version you just need to have admin permissions.  

Go to the Windows Search bar, type “CMD”, right-click to ‘Run as administrator

2: Now type the following commands and hit enter one-by-one:

netsh winsock reset

netsh int ip reset

netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt

ipconfig /flushdns

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

netsh int ipv4 reset resetlog.txt

Now restart you system you issue should be fixed if not we have last fix for you. 

METHOD 6. UPDATE THE DRIVER.

Using the latest drivers on your computer is very important in order to smooth functioning of operating system . So make sure you use the latest network drivers as well. 

1: Open the Windows Search bar, type “Device Manager” and hit enter. 

2: Double-click on ‘Network adapters’ to expand.

3: Select your network adapter, it could be Realtek, Broadcom, Intel,  etc. 

4: Right-click on it and select ‘Update driver’. 

5. Now select "Search automatically for driver". If did not work follow the below steps.

5. Now select "Browse my computer for driver " Then "Let me pick from a list  of available drivers". 

6. You need to choose the latest driver for your computer or try all driver one by one . You must restart your system after performing each step.
